About me
Dr. Marr graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University before obtaining his PharmD and MBA from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Marr completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Baptist Health Lexington and joined the organization as a clinical pharmacist following successful program completion. After obtaining his board certification in pharmacotherapy, Dr. Marr precepted pharmacy residents rotating through internal medicine learning experiences before assuming his current role as PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director. Dr. Marr serves as Chair of the KSHP House of Delegates and on the KSHP Board of Directors. He is actively involved with both the KSHP Public Policy committee and the KPhA Professional Affairs committee. He is married to Dr. Lakin Marr, owner of Med Save Pharmacy South Lexington and Treasurer of the Kentucky Pharmacists Association. In his free time, Eric enjoys watching UK athletics, traveling, rec league sports, visiting local breweries and festivals, and playing with his dog, Waffle
