About me
Sydney Kermeen is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Christian Brothers University and attended The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy where she received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She completed her PGY1 residency at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and she is continuing her training at ECU Health as the PGY2 Critical Care resident. Her clinical practice interests include nutrition support, medical critical care, and trauma critical care. This year her research will evaluate analgesia and sedation requirements in trauma patients presenting with a positive toxicology screen. After residency, Dr. Kermeen will stay on at ECU health Medical Center as an ICU float clinical pharmacist. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys hiking, baking, and spending time with her dog, friends, and family.
