2025 Southeastern Residency Conference

My name is Ram Patel, and I am a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Originally from Chicago, IL, I completed both my undergraduate and pharmacy school education there before moving south for residency.My passion for oncology pharmacy stems from a deep interest in improving supportive care measures and understanding the historical evolution of cancer treatment. I find great fulfillment in the constant learning that residency provides and enjoy connecting different aspects of pharmacy across various hospital departments.Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors, especially hiking, and I’ve recently rekindled my interest in pottery. A fun fact about me—I was actually born with six fingers on my left hand! (Though it was surgically removed shortly after birth.)I’m excited to continue growing as a pharmacist and contributing to the ever-evolving world of oncology care.
