2025 Southeastern Residency Conference

Dr. Kayla Lawlor is a Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgical Intensive Care Pharmacist at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her Bachelors in Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Florida in 2012 and her Doctorate of Pharmacy from University of Florida in 2016. Her post graduate training was completed at Emory University Hospital with a Pharmacy Practice PGY-1 in 2017 and a Critical Care PGY2 in 2018. Her practice interests include delirium, sleep promotion in the ICU, and ICU burnout. She joined the Emory University College of Medicine as Adjunct Clinical Faculty for the Department of Anesthesia in September 2020. She is an involved member of SCCM and a co-communications chair of the Women in Critical Care Knowledge Education Group. She recently became the RPD of the PGY Pharmacy Residency Program in January 2024.
