About me
Jenny Hollingsworth is the current PGY-1 Community-Based Specialty Pharmacy Resident from Walgreens Atlanta. She graduated from Mercer University College of Pharmacy in 2024 and has been working within the Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy located at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. As part of her residency, she rotates between different specialty departments to broaden expertise within various disease states. Her solid organ transplant rotation sparked her interest and was the backdrop to her research in Rifaximin medication access in the treatment of Hepatic Encephalopathy. Jenny hails from Kennesaw, Georgia and completed her undergraduate degree in Biology from Berry College. Her future goals include continuing personal and clinical developement as a new practitioner in the specialty field space. In her free time, she likes to knit and needlepoint, discover new recipes to try, and spend time gaming with her family.
