About me
Christele Francois, PharmD, is board certified in pharmacotherapy. She is a member of the Department of Pharmacy at Emory University Hospital and currently practicing as an Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist. Dr. Francois obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Miami in Coral Gables. Her Doctor of Pharmacy degree was completed at Mercer University College of Pharmacy in Atlanta. Upon completion of her PharmD, she pursued a post-graduate year one pharmacy practice residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville.
She is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and actively involved in various committees at her institution. Her areas of interests include quality improvement, medication reconciliation, medication safety and antimicrobial stewardship in the Emergency Department (ED) setting. Throughout the years, she has been involved in multiple research and quality improvement initiatives related to medication reconciliation, clinical interventions, the opioid epidemic, and geriatric patients.
Dr. Francois is dedicated to precepting and mentoring college and pharmacy students. She is currently an adjunct clinical instructor at Mercer University College of Pharmacy and a clinical assistant professor at University of Florida College of Pharmacy. She also precepts students from University of Georgia College of Pharmacy.
