Haley Smith, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP is the Neuro Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist and PGY-1 Residency Program Director at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. Dr. Smith received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Mississippi and further went on to obtain her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in 2017. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at University Health Shreveport in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 2018. After completion of PGY-1 residency, she joined the team at OLOL in July of 2018 as one of the Critical Care Clinical Staff Pharmacists before transitioning into the Neuro Critical Care Specialist role. She became the PGY1 Residency Program Director in 2021. Her clinical interest areas include stroke and thrombolytic management, RSI management, code blue response, and toxicology. Outside of pharmacy she enjoys playing video games, DnD, and spending time with her husband and 2 daughters.
