Background: Bloodstream infections (BSIs) are associated with significant morbidity and mortality especially in patients with co-morbidities that can amplify the severity of the illness. Broad spectrum empiric antibiotics are initiated with suspected sepsis. Antimicrobial stewardship strives to optimize usage of antibiotics when indicated and create interventions to better antibiotic usage. However, there is lack of stewardship
